My story
My interest in health began when, while pregnant with my son, I underwent medical tests, which made me realize that I had an autoimmune disorder called Hashimoto's hypothyroidism. This news led me to embark on a journey to try to understand what was happening in my body. I discovered that various symptoms that I had had for many years, such as fatigue and chronic migraines, were nothing more than signals from my body telling me that something was wrong. At that time, after trying various diets, reading different books, and taking medication; I was lucky enough to come across Ayurveda.
The beautiful science of Ayurveda teaches us the importance of knowing ourselves and practicing daily routines to maintain the balance of our body and mind. Adopting these routines in our day to day, as well as being aware of what and how we digest (both our food and what we perceive with our senses), becomes our effective tool to strengthen our immunity, prevent diseases and develop our potential to the fullest with the aim of enjoying life and being happy.
Ayurveda has taught me to know myself to understand what is happening in my body, both physically and psychologically.
It has helped me have the energy to do my favorite activities and has made the symptoms that I experienced for many years disappear.
What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is a health science originating in India based on the laws of nature.
It has been proven for thousands of years and is still valid since the laws of nature never change.
Ayurveda can seem a bit complicated at first, especially since much of what it teaches us is very different from what we have known or are used to. However in Ayurveda everything is easily explained and makes logical sense. Instead of being rigid and obsessed with achieving perfection, we can be kind to ourselves.
Ayurveda tells us we must take one step at a time, paying attention to our environment, learning to flow with the cycles and rhythms of nature.
